Saving Passwords

Passwords can be saved on your computer. When you select a Member ID with a saved password, the computer automatically enters the password for you.

IMPORTANT

• Saving a password on your computer enables other users to Connect with that Member ID and access your account in the SBC Yahoo! browser. If you share a computer with other people and want to keep information private, we strongly suggest you do not save your password.

• For security purposes, passwords are saved on your computer, not the SBC Yahoo! network. For this reason, saving a password on one computer does not automatically save it on each computer used to access the SBC Yahoo! service. Passwords must be saved on each computer individually.

To save a password

1. Select a Member ID.

2. Select the check box beside Save my password.

3. Type the password for that Member ID.

4. Connect.

5. Next time this ID is used to connect, the computer automatically enters the password.

To cancel saved password

1. Select the Member ID.

2. Clear the check box beside Save my Password on this computer.

3. Connect.

4. Each time the Member ID is used to connect, the password must be typed in.
